Reverend Doctor Howard S. Gaston of Kennerdell, Pennsylvania is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College, Class of 1981. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 1985, and his Doctor of Ministry from Gordon-Cronwell Theological Seminary in 2006. He has 30 years of experience as a pastor. He has been the pastor of three Presbyterian Churches in Pennsylvania. Two of these were small churches and the third was in Oil City Pa. He now feels that his true calling is to a small church in a rural setting.
Rev. Gaston lives in our manse with his family, his wife, Donna, and their son John. They have a daughter, Sandy who with her husband, Nick are attending Westminster Seminary in Phila. Daughter Becca is a RN at Northeast Vermont Regional Hospital.
Dr. Gaston believes that “God is calling us to think creatively about ministry and about to whom we minister.” He is a compelling speaker with a strong message and a good sense of humor. He feels strongly that our church is a good fit for him and for his family.
